  I had a problem with a toilet. Called brothers and explained the symptoms I was seeing with the toilet and the things I tried to fix it before calling them. The plumber grabbed the same kind of tool I just finished telling him I used and attempted to fix my toilet with it. It worked for 6 days before going back to being problematic. I was told over the phone I had to pay $45 for the plumber to come out but if I agreed to do the service that $45 would go towards whatever work was being done. The plumber who showed up said "it'd be nice if we did that, but we don't" and I paid $45 plus the full cost of his visit. Wasted nearly $200 for a guy to do the same thing I've done before and nothing was fixed.

  I have always used Apple Plumbing. I have owned 8 homes in the Denver area. I thought that I would give "Brothers" a chance due to the $50 discount for new customers. Their sales pitch is "we price by the job, not the hour...giving the customer a better price" . Do not fall for this as I did. This company makes up for the discount by charging nearly a huge mark-up on parts. My fault, I should not have used them, but I needed the job done. The technician was a gentleman...However, when I asked for a breakdown of costs separating parts cost from labor, he would not answer...said he did not know. Yea, right!! This company charged me $300 for a part I could have purchased at Home Depot for $25. The owner called me after I left a message regarding my dissatisfaction with their pricing. She begged me to give her company good scores. Do not, I repeat, do not let yourself get ripped off like I did.
