It's a short block to Inner Harbor attractions. Rooms smallish but ended up with BR/sitting room. They were clean and well supplied. Staff from valet parking up were very pleasant & helpful.Breakfast was standard but hot and tasty. Only issue was heavy traffic and noise that abated dramatically after rush hour and did not interfere with sleep. Make it 4+. Restaurants of every type within easy walk.

Was suppose to stay four night at The Brookshire Suites, Inn in Baltimore, but checking out after one night. The hotel rooms look like it was an old renovated apartment building. Therefore, giving the illusion of a large hotel room. We arrived late at night exhausted, but not to tired to realize that our room was grimey. Starting as you cross the threshold that was unusually dirty. There is an old , spent white ā€œleatherā€ sofa that I wouldnā€™t dare sit on. Our floors were covered with long grey or blond hair, proof that floors have not been vacuumed in who knows when. Now Iā€™m really not feeling good about ā€œ my downtown bargainā€. The bathroom, well letā€™s just say that I decided to wait and shower in my new hotel. Some may call the darkly lit rooms hip or sexy, I call them dark and gloomy. On the upside, the beds were very comfortable and there were quality bathroom products. The staff member was very nice but he is not the room. Did not bother with the breakfast after experiencing such an unclean room.

Let me explain this terrible review... 1) our original room was smoked in and wasnā€™t clean. Luckily they moved us to another room. Small victory... 2) the second room was warm, but since we had a conference, we flipped on the AC and headed out for the evening. We returned late to a hot box. We had to sleep in the hot box until they finally got a repairman to fix the AC. However, the AC is a really dated wall unit that is loud and barely cooled the room. 3) our room overlooked a scenic back-alleyway fully equipped with a ladder and a nest that a homeless person slept on (see pics). I assume this is really just a hotel guest that crawled out the window the escape the heat... but it could be a homeless person i guess. 4) they didnā€™t clean our rooms unless we asked 5) the bathrooms are gross... see pics 6) Adam Duritz (lead singer of Counting Crows) pictures throughout hotel... including a pic of him staring at you right in front of the toilet... Pro for some, definitely a CON for me. 7) no screen on windows, so bugs came into room at night. Bugs needed a warm place to stay I guess. 8) staff entered room without knocking... just keyed right in and were surprised we were there 9) peep-hole on door might have given me pink-eye (see pics) 10) left a cookie on the table before leaving... woke up next day and half of it was gone... not sure if I ate it, or staff did... debatable I guess This is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed. The staff were nice, but clearly there is a pattern of terrible customer service. Bottom line: sleeping on balcony with bum would have been nicer and worth the price.

Staff was excellent, like I've never experienced. I was impressed by their attentiveness and attention to detail. The suite was large, clean, and with all necessary amenities. Rooms could use updates. Technology was lacking for a "modern" hotel. Overall, would book again and recommend to others.

Such a cute hotel! Great proximity to the harbor and really nice. The rooms (at least mine) felt like a home. The staff were attentive and helpful. Valet took a while but that doesn't detract from anything! Definitely visit the breakfast area because the view is breathtaking!
