  Maybe to much of a neighborhood place. Entering the bar you feel like you stepped in a total stranger’s house

  There is a delicious fried platter on the menu that I recommend eating by oneself after a sad, bad day. It tastes better if you are fired, as opposed to quitting. Also there are events that I have never attended, but hear promising things about, like trivia night.

  When this place opened up a few years back it was my GO TO. Over the years too many changes in staff and chefs. One time a bartender kept serving this guy who was disturbing people, clearly drunk out of his mind. Umm, cut off? Then this guy gets into a verbal dispute with me and my friend, threatening my friend that he would get a gun and come back. Ahh. Gotta love Brooklyn eh? And 2 or 3 months ago a staff member totally ignored giving me and my friend a menu while giving everyone else one. Took forever to get to my friend for drinks. I believe it's because I got into a verbal altercation with his girlfriend before. At this point I refuse to go back. I'll walk further for better service. UPDATE: Took a chance and went back. Guy doesn’t work there anymore and Cassie is AWESOME. Happy to have my local bar back

  Overcharged. They are not what they used to be. Had been a regular here giving them my hard earned money. They can't decide if they are cash or credit once and for all. It being cash when convenient for them with no regard for their patrons. Arrived there for there Monday burger deal and asked about it. I could have easily been charged the difference between my happy hour vodka soda and the $6.25 lager/beer or whatever the hell it was. Yet I ended up paying $13.50 for a burger plus bacon when I could have gotten a few burgers for free and just have paid for the bacon. No shame. They do not deserve my money the way they are going.

  This place is really nice . I've been to it three times. The food and drinks are affordable. The only thing I would suggest the owner to put is more staff to serve. We got a table and we literally had to get up and order our food by the bar. No one ever came to us to ask us what we wanted. Once the food was ready they brought it to us but not once were we asked if we wanted to drink something. You may be looking customers like that.
