HORRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE, APPALING service. I am a business owner myself and can't believe that BRITTANY RAY actually answered the phone and hung up on me! As a business owner, I understand long days and longer nights, however, I find inexcusable to project my stress on my customers. After paying the delivery fee, the flowers were not delivered and Brittany Ray suggested I pay the delivery fee again. She then proceeded to berate me after adamantly refusing to refund the original delivery fee. Her excuse, "my driver rang the doorbell and no one answered." The end result, on Mother's Day, my mother-in-law ended up picking up her own flowers from Brittany Ray's. NEVER AGAIN. Don't buy from here. ***** contrary to the reputation saving attempt, posted below, I remain unmoved. Brittany Ray overbearingly talked over me, suggested I pay an additional 15.00 to have the flowers delivered, without guaranteeing the flowers would make it. She then terminated the call when I suggested she refund initial 15.00. I own my business and would never hang up on a client, bad business etiquette. What's even worse, I ordered these flowerbeds me and paid for delivery. They didn't even call the recipient. The recipient had to go pick up her own flowers, which takes away from the entire gesture.

I came in this store not very impressed with the level of customer service. Just because you are a entrepreneur and have ran a business for 30 years doesn't mean you were trained in proper customer service. A lot of people argue over that statement and say well I have trained myself from experience. No just because you trained yourself from experience doesn't mean you have correct customer service training. I have read the other bad reviews and they all mean to have some consistency to them. Which tell me they are not hallucinating what they experienced plus what i have witnessed myself told me what i needed to know. So here is my history and advise. I have had the best customer service training you can get in the United States. My family has a family business for 160 years it today is still going strong. With my help it is running better than ever. I was asked to come in and make sure everyone in that business was running it properly and treating customers properly. So advise, I would seriously look up proper customer service online and make sure you are handling these situations correctly. I do know responding to these reviews the way you have is not the way it should be done. Do not go lashing back at customers cause they expressed there frustration they are entitled to in there own review. In responding to a review you should always apologize and try to make one more attempt to fix the problem. Now the police situation, that was mishandled the worst I have ever seen. That would have been simple, if the customer is that concerned then have him come in and talk it over with him. be firm but polite and be finished with it. Never suggest someone go to a grocery store to buy arrangements if that is what they wanted, they would have went there to begin with. With my experience if you cant make time to talk with a customer within 5 minutes then you need to hire more staff. It should never take more than five minutes to get to a customer. especially when that person is the only customer in the store. I will come back at a later date and try again. maybe that experience will be better. Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope it helps. Now this is my review. If you cant respond in a polite manner then do not respond to this review at all.

I ordered a birthday flower arrangement for my caregiver on September 5, 2017. Britney was very courteous and professional. I was a little apprehensive because I never visited the business located in Chalmette, La. I request that the arrangement delivery by 12 noon. Not only was the flower arrangement delivered at the requested time, but the quality of the work was amazing. My caregiver was very surprised and happy with her flowers! Such a beautiful arrangement! Thanks to Brittney Ray's Florist! I will order future arrangements for sure! Happy customer, Shelita Gould

I live in Ohio and was unable to make it to Louisiana this weekend to attend services for my best friend's mother. I called Brittney Ray's only a half hour before closing time. They were busy but promised to call back to help me with an arrangement. She called me back even though it was after hours. She took the time to help me understand what flowers were in season in LA at this time of year. Brittney Ray's made a custom basket and, despite my calling late, they were able to put it together and get it ordered early the following morning. The woman I spoke with was so sweet and helpful and thoughtful. I felt confident that she conveyed my vision with the basket she made. I would recommend Brittney Ray's Florist to anyone looking for a personal touch and friendly service.

I'm a bride with a little over 4 months until my wedding. My time is running short and I had not met with a florist yet! However, I have been researching florist for over a year now. I ran across Brittney Ray's Florist on the knot and also had a personal recommendation from a friend for another floral shop. I was impressed with the photographs displayed on Brittney Ray's website. Excited to get started, I called Brittney Ray's to set up a consultation!!! Only to be told that its $100 consultation fee to even sit and go over floral ideas for my upcoming wedding! Absolutely not! I have been wedding planning for over a year and this was the first vendor to ever mention a "fee" to sit and discuss arrangements or ideas. Eager to get floral crossed off my list that day; I called up the floral shop in Metairie that my friend recommended. I went to them that same day and purchased all of my wedding flowers. I think it's bad business to charge a potential customer a "consultation fee". Sorry Brittney Ray, but you lost out on money due to such a silly policy. I'd rather give my business to someone who wants to sit down with me, show me what they have to offer and then allow me to make my decision based on their talent. Not worry about getting my "consultation fee" applied to my order! Foolish!
