  My boyfriend and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary by taking their tour and we were not disappointed. Summer, our tour guide, was very professional and very down to earth. She made you feel welcome and comfortable, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. This was our first time doing anything like this and Summer was very good and finding things that we would like and defiantly knew her history and brewing processes. I would recommend this place for couples.

  Amazing Experience. Best Customer Service EVER. Impressive knowledge about beer making and San Diego's craft scene. Great value for money Scheduled a Saturday tour for 7* on Thursday. Got a phone call back from the owner, Summer, shortly after I left a message with the phone routing service. She was able to provide me with all the possible scenarios I was looking for, within my budget, and within the time constraints we needed to meet. Friendly, helpful... off to a good start. Saturday comes around and now instead of there being 7 of us there are now 8... okay not good since 8 can't ride legally in a Lincoln Navigator. So I call her and let her know whats up and she immediately gets on the horn with her crew and is able to coordinate with her limo driver and Lincoln Navigator driver / tour host / co-owner to take us to 3 breweries in the limo. Then our host will drive 7 back to the hotel in the Navigator so only one of us needs to Uber it back (from the closest point on the trip). WOW. She pulled this off within 30 minutes of finding out and was so nice while doing it. For the tours Summer asked if we had any ideas so I told her the places I wanted to visit - Green Flash and Ballast Point and let her pick one. Since the bachelor in our party liked light beer she picked out Coronado. After the limo dropped us off at Green Flash we were able to do an entirely private tour with our host, Lars, without waiting for the public tour. In addition Lars made sure at all three breweries our glasses were full the entire time, proactively, without missing a beat. Lars was an all around fun guy to chat with and new his beer better than most people I have come across. He asked if we wanted to go deep or keep the tour light. Since it was a bachelor party where the goal was drinks not knowledge we opted to keep it light. Even then his knowledge was impressive. From the start of the process to the end bottling he knew it like the back of his hand. On top of that it was down right fun to get private tours at the breweries we went to without worrying about planning it all out ahead of time. This was seriously the best money spend on a fun beer filled weekend I've made and I encourage you, if you are either considering trying to plan this out ala carte or are considering a hosted tour the all-details-included hosted tour by Brew Hop is the way to go. You'll be very happy you did!
