  As stated in the comment before, yes this is part of the hospital. Yes it's an old Hospital, but it's an excellent hospital!!! Handles specialty cases from all over the world and a leader in medical procedures. Fortunately this Hospital has a hotel for patients and their families!!! Not having to drive and find parking in NOLA and transport back and forth to be with a loved one. Brent House is a blessing for those who need it. No, it's not a vacation spot, but comfortable and affordable. I'm sure 99% of the people who stay there, wish they were there for a vacation. 😞😔

  It's inside a hospital. A dilapidated hospital, at that. Nothing in any of the ads mentions any of the following: Its inside a hospital. Your room is a converted patients room. There is still a "help me" pull cord in the bath tub. You must walk through the hospital to access the hotel or your room. The whole place smells like a hospital, and it's not conveniently located to anything as the ads have you believe. Unless you are staying with a loved one that is a patient at the hospital, don't be fooled.

  Very nice service and location for us as out of town visitors. It's part of the hospital, but the hotel itself is a seperate area which was not busy or loud. Location was 5 minutes from plenty of local things, less than 15 minute drive to parking in the French Quarter. We were very glad we chose to stay here!

  Comfortable place to spend an evening. Not luxurious, but adequate. Centrally located and moderately priced.
