Decent place if you are a driver (taxi NEMT, Uber/Lyft) and need a place to stop at for a little while, can be pretty crowded though so free spaces aren't always available. Decent prices for the location. FYI, single bathroom though so there is usually a line.

Proficient gas station in the heart of downtown Chicago. During my stay they offered the cheapest gas rates. The staff was great every time I went.

I never thought I would write a review for a gas station but it is so bad, I have to. I had to make a stop because I had a flat tire and they would not give me another round of 4 quarters (after I used the first round up) for their air machine. The "store manager" told me it is against the policy. And that, after I used their ATM to get cash. When I asked him what he thought I should do with my car that was parked on their property with the flat tire, he just shrugged his shoulders. Now this was around 11pm and it was freezing cold outside and none of the undesirable elements in the store would offer some sort of help or advice. Chicago ghetto at its finest. Will avoid that place like the plague from now on.

Super high gas prices (normal for Chicago proper) but it's one of your only choices in that area and they know it. There are always 1 or more people asking you for money outside and during busier times of day (almost around the clock at that location) it's hard to get in and out. Staff is usually busy talking to one another which makes the line go slower.
