  I have heard and read some nasty comments about your gym. I plan to join and go to gym but I am pondering which one to choose I reside here in Medford. has an advantage is that I love and got to do water aerobics which is great for the body and muscle problems. I emailed you as you asked me to know more details. Thanks I had the opportunity to take a look at the gym and agree that there are some things downgraded and the friendliness of some public attendant is not the best. which leaves me wondering if your space is really the right choice.

  I only go to this gym because it's close to my house. The equipment is ALWAYS broken, I'm sorry but If you are charging people $80/month the equipment should be properly working.

  Cosmetically this gym is in decline. They have some nice windows but the equipment is aging and isn’t maintained, there are never enough weight pins, freebars or weight clips, pads are worn out, signs appear suggesting maintenance but equipment stays broken for weeks. In the bathrooms the paper towels are often completely gone, there are never any facial tissues, no more body lotion, rarely a complete set of bathing products in the showers (they’ve been switching vendors for about 6 months - that’s their excuse). Most recently all of the hair dryers have gone missing from the locker rooms without replacement. It started as an all inclusive club, not now its bring your own. If you’re considering BSC as a chain, sign up at Waltham. Their passport membership is cheaper than Wellington and includes all the clubs (I was lied to when I signed up at Wellington - told all clubs were included and that my membership would be cheaper than other clubs - not true!). I spent three and a half years overpaying for a membership at Wellington. I’m so glad I switched base clubs.

  I signed up to use the basketball court mainly, but the court is "closed" almost everyday of the week during after-work hours when I would be able to go. Currently the only night that is dedicated for using the basketball court for basketball is Monday. Even on the weekends, large portions of time are unavailable. On top of that the service was apathetic, uncaring, and at times downright rude. I've asked to speak to a manager countless times and have never been able to, I was even promised an email that I never received. For the price I would expect much, much more.

  Its a cool gym. 3 levels, full size pool, nice changing rooms, good floorplan on the main level with free weights, racks, and a large open space on the turf. Ample running machines. 3rd floor is the 'muscle floor' with lots of free weights, racks and smith machines. Also the studios for classes are located on 3rd floor. Free 2 n half hour parking in a garage. Located off the orange line. I like coming here.
