Horrible experience! First, they claim that if it doesn't work, your visit is free! Hooray! Or, if it doesn't work later on, they will refund your visit fees (not the drug fees). Here is the story of my husband's three visits. He is over 65, overweight, and diabetic, which makes him very tough to treat for ED. Second, this place is not on King Street, even though the address is. It is very very hard to find. Visit 1: He is given an injection and told that it worked. They told him it would cost about $1500 for the visits and first round of drugs. He hands over his credit card. A young assistant goes off with his credit card and says he'll be right back. After 20 minutes of waiting, my husband gives up and goes downstairs to the lobby. The assistant is working at the receptionist's computer (she is sitting out of the way). He says "Oh, I was just coming back to give you your credit card." Visit 2: I went with him for this visit. We were going to learn how to use the stuff. We were put in an exam room with a standard exam table, and waited about 30 minutes. There didn't seem to be any other patients there. Finally, the young assistant comes in and takes us out of the exam room and puts us in an office. He leaves us for a while and comes back and gets ready to give my husband another injection. He gives no explanations, such as "use an alcohol swab" or "here is how you load the needle". This is supposed to be our training. He hardly says a word until he is about to give the injection, and then says "Oh, you need to be lying down. Let me go find an empty exam room. Which we just came from, and all the ones we walked by were empty. He leaves us for about 30 minutes. While he was gone, I was looking around the room and noticed a pile of styrofoam mailing cubes labeled in bold letters "Warning! Keep Refrigerated!" These were stacked on a file cabinet. I noticed that one had my husband's name on it. When the total wait time was about 70 minutes, my husband said, "That's it, I'm done waiting. I know how to do this." I pointed out that his medicine was sitting right within reach. We picked it up and made our way out. The young assistant was once again at the receptionist's computer. She was out of the way of her own computer and looked unhappy with the situation. He said, "Oh, I was just about to find you a room!" We went home, tried the medicine twice, and it didn't work. Visit 3: My husband went back and saw doctor #2, who looked at his medical records, and especially the medications he was on. He gave my husband another injection, said it didn't work, and wouldn't work for him. He looked angry at doctor #1. It appears that my husband should never have been told that it worked, never charged $1500. I am not a man, and I can't understand how he thought it worked the first time when it didn't. This makes no sense to me, but in any case we are out $1500 and we got nothing. But at least we could get a refund for the cost of the medication (about half of the $1500). Except that it has been about 3 months and we have no refund. They keep saying it is "in process".
