  We had our commencement ball here, the space was absolutely gorgeous, right on the waterfront with window view out to the harbor. Had a dancefloor set up and great service for dinner! The food was delicious, though the portions were especially small for the vegetarian and vegan dinner choices. Dessert was amazing! Drinks were too expensive for just pretty good drinks - but everything else was incredible!

  What an amazing property. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. Newspapers (Wall St Journal) was delivered to the room. Rooms are beautiful with a gorgeous view of the harbor. The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is that I was assigned an ADA room. I wish I had been notified of this upon checkin. I am glad they have handicapped rooms, but if they are assigned arbitrarily to people who don't need ADA rooms, at least tell them in advance and give them a choice, unless you are sold out and have no choice.

  Some friends and I were in town for lunch and a visit. One of my friends had a reservation at the Boston Harbor Hotel for work purposes. We were able to leave a car out front with Valet while we visited. Rooms and views were beautiful! Staff was wonderful and welcoming. Decor and flowers were so pretty. Centrally located and easy accessibility to many points of interest and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

  Wonderful stay. Everything was perfect except for the weather (which even they could not control). Stayed there for the marathon and the staff were wonderfully attentive, the rooms beautiful, location excellent and the bar what a great place to visit with friends and family. We will definitely return. Our new favorite Boston hotel!

  Best hotel on east coast. This hotel ranks consistently within my top 3 5-star hotel experiences worldwide. Beats Mandarin Oriental in Asia hands down when it comes to genuine warmth of hotel staff to all visitors. Consistently amazing service each visit over past 25 years. Doorman greeted me by name as I was getting out of taxi - recognized me even after a 3 year absence. It makes a huge difference that many staff have worked here for 10-30 years. Impeccable service from all staff. Housekeeping staff go out of their way to make me feel welcome - like aunts welcoming a favorite nephew into their home. They solve all my problems and anticipate my needs. Try the signature Rowe's Wharf (crab and avocado) salad. Out of the world good. Best crab salad I've had on East coast. Don't even think of any other hotel when you visit Boston (assuming you're looking in this - high! - price range). Be careful, once youve stayed here, it spoils you for all other hotel experiences! Hotel management - if you read this, please keep retaining your long tenure staff, and treat them like the treasure they are. It's these colleagues that keep your hotel so great!
