Bland burritos with too much lettuce. Bland pico, guac, not enough salt or oil in the rice or meat. Could use some real flavor. Maybe too little salt, butter, oil? Even the egg burritos were bad. The sauces tasted too watery. Nice service.

They seemed promising from the conversation we had with the staff about fresh produce and cali style Mexican food. Enjoyed the conversation with the staff, but the food... it was ok. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad either, there was nothing memorable about it. The presentation was nice at least. I might be biased since I grew up from the Bay Area and there's rarely bad Mexican food. Considering the veggies are local where I lived, I'm not sure I can fairly judge Mexican food outside California.

The staff is really nice and this review is a part from the experience. The cost is decent, the space is cool and they advertise using fresh food daily. However, the food was pretty bland. I was disappointed. If it weren’t for the hot sauce, eating my grilled chicken quesadilla wouldn’t have much form of delight. The shredded chicken was sadly worse. But it was workable for a quick bite to rush to the movies around the corner. some salt and pepper shakers, readily available salsas and more seasoning would help a great deal. The portions are decent and friendly staff.

I feel mean leaving a bad review since the people who work here are so nice, but my taco was really sub-par. The torillas were too soft and moist (almost damp), and the chicken was SO dry. No diced onions? Yet they put black beans and lettuce in it... Why... Anyway, this would be a two star review if the guy at the counter wasn't so nice. If you're used to California or Southwest style Mexican food, you're probably going to want to skip this place.
