I went next door to the pizza place for lunch. I noticed a sign for a free phone if you switched over to Boost Mobile. I didn't really care about a free phone, just a moderately priced one that was good quality with good reception. I walked in to check out what they had to offer. The phones looked decent. I was waiting for my direct deposit to go through so I told the guy working there that I would be back shortly. I returned within an hour or two. I asked a lot of questions about the phones and the service. The guy working there wasn't knowledgeable. He said things that didn't make any sense. There were no signs out in front of the phones that listed the specs of the phones, and the man working there couldn't answer any questions. I asked to see the box to the phones to check the memory and storage capacity. He did bring one out at a time, not a problem. But there was very little info on the front of the box. When I attempted to turn the box over I noticed that the employee was holding it down with his hand. He wouldn't allow me to look at the back of the box for fear that I would steal the phone. I have a Note 4 and Galaxy S3 purchased from Sprint (you know quality phones), I just wanted another cheap but sturdy phone. I have a job that pays pretty well I don't need to steal these cheap phones. The idiot behind the counter is probably proud of himself thinking that he prevented a theft, but in reality he prevented a sale. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this isn't a good business practice. Well I went home and checked out reviews for Boost Mobile phones on their own website from their own customers, and it ain't good. 👋
