I enjoy this spot but it would be a great 'neighborhood spot' if they had regular bartenders. Maybe tonight was an off night, but one one the bartenders acted as if he was too cool. I just expect good service, is that too much 2 ask 4?

My favorite brewery in Los Angeles. Not only because of their beer but because of their space. Located in the arts district. They have a great set up. Open space for other events of such. A wide selection of games; darts, pool, fussball etc. And if your hungry sometimes they will have a lunch truck park outside or you can get purgatory pizza delivered. They have deal with the brewery it's really good.

A laid back brewery with cool atmosphere and plenty of space. If you are deterred from the other breweries in the Arts District because of the massive crowds, I would highly recommend going to Boomtown. This place is a bit on the outskirts but well worth visiting. The space is nice with lots of seating and some games throughout. Good selection of craft brews and seems to be on the down-low at least for now. When our Uber dropped us off we thought we were in the wrong place but we were able to find the entrance after some people were exiting. It felt like a speak-easy brewery but unintentionally.

Absolutely loved Boomtown, not just for it's chill setup, clean and modern ambiance, but for it's flavorful beers (especially "Submission"). In a very quiet part of town, Boomtown is easily missed and it's entrance mostly hidden. But once inside, this quickly became my happy space. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to hangout with friends, with large tables to share and some couches in the back. On weekends I've seen some delicious BBQ outside. I mean...what else could you really ask for.

Great locale. Staff is friendly enough. The games are an A+ feature. The crowd always seems friendly. I'd recommend friends to go there. Their beer selection is pretty vast. However it's why they lost a star. There's definitely a miss in the good beers department.
