  My husband had to go to cardiology for a few tests and we were very pleased with the service. The nurses and staff there are so funny and make you feel very welcome and comfortable.

  Not that Saint John’s needs another negative review, but because it is deserved I will write it in hopes of helping another family make a better decision. Over the years, St. John’s has been our family hospital because of location and doctor affiliations. Every trip to the emergency room was a complete disaster. Long waits, chaotic situations, general disorder and in many cases lack of interest on the part of the care givers in being helpful. Hospital stays were somewhat better, but nonetheless less desirable considering the need for such care. The personnel never seemed to be on the same page (on multiple visits). Many times a lack of respect was shown to both the patient and the family. Most of the aides over the years were very cold with some exceptions. Security and parking are negatives as well. I understand that the job across the board in health care is very demanding, but as a whole Saint Johns has not mastered it. On a positive note, most nurses are very caring and attentive.

  From the moment I stepped in the staff was incredible! I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving to the ER. The doctors and staff were extremely knowledgable and made me feel like I was top priority. The best though we’re Shyni, Daisy, and the ER crew (I didn’t get all their names). Truly an incredible experience!

  From the ER to the 5th Fl south. The most professional, kind, caring people you could ask for. With out mentioning names for fear of leaving anyone out the entire staff is fantastic. From the doctors, nurses, assistants, transporters, Labs, techs and cleaning personnel are all very professional and fabulous people. Thank you all for a great experience Wayne Spear.

  We had a good experience here and I felt I should leave a review considering all the negative ones. The admissions people were nice, our nurses (Lorraine) were very nice, all the staff taking blood, bringing blankets, food, moving the beds, etc. We weren't in the ER, it was an outpatient procedure. My wife and I were very happy with the staff and service. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the view of the river and palisades from the room was gorgeous.
