  My wife was a patient at Helen hayes...she had a seizure and had a difficult time pronouncing words..verbalizing. .and formulating sentences. ..H.H.staff worked their magic... within three weeks she was talking 100%..Helen Hayes is a WORLD CLASS immaculate rehab hospital....THE BEST ..PERIOD. .

  I had been looking forward to a professional rehab center after my knee replacement surgery at HSS. Hospital for Special Surgery was fantastic. Helen Hayes however kind the nursing staff and therapists are is very disorganized. They have the equipment and the staff is trained on many devices but they were never on time and 30 minute therapy were more like 20 minutes of actual therapy work. I made good progress but that was because I pushed myself. I was having blood pressure issues after working out but only a couple of therapists cared to check to see how my pressure was doing. I have not been to rehab before but expected this facility to be much more organized and conscientious.

  Helen Hayes is the best in rehabilitation. Their staff are very professional, caring and helpful... The place is very clean..Helen Hayes is the best!
