  Where do I begin...I was looking to get back into shape, flexible hours due to my work schedule & commute from work and a knowledgeable professional who would hear my needs to translate it to a routine and target my goals. I found it all and then some with Body in Balance! As a Special Educator, always seeking for the expertise, intentive listening and patience of Maria, my private pilates instructor week to week I felt stronger, experience attainable goals and challenges that truly got me addicted! :) For me having private instruction allowed me to learn at my pace, develop the needed mind & body connection for each posture to achieve the form & flow. When Maria was not available due to "life" happening, she left me in capable hands, Susan. These two ladies are beautiful inside and out. My experience w/ Body in Balance has become an ongoing love affair, I feel very fortunate my search led me to this studio, totally recommend a visit!! Try it, I am pretty confidant, you will more than like it!

  I have been coming here since they opened. Maria and Susan are terrific teachers at all levels, which is very important. They are professional and caring. Classes are run well,start on time, equipment is clean, studio bright and clean. Body in Balance is an appropriate name for the studio. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.   New to pilates and reformer and have fallen in love with it thanks to Maria and Susan! They are both great teachers and so patient while going through the learning process. Highly recommend Body in Balance if your looking for a great studio. Catherine M

  I have been doing pilates for years and find Maria and Susan to be top notch instructors. I have taken private sessions with both of them as well as group classes. They both take a real interest in their clients and I love that each session is personalized for me. Each session is different and adjusted to my individual needs. Great care is taken to ensure proper form and safety. Group sessions are small with up to four people. This is particularly amazing, because it is rare that a pilates studio will provide such personalized attention in a group setting. I have also had duet sessions which are really fun with a family member or friend. I highly recommend Body In Balance.

  Susan and Maria are professionals. They care about form and ensure that their clients are working to their potential. As a client, I feel Pilates Reformer has strengthened my core and given me the spinal flexibility needed to perform my job. As a physical therapist I feel I can refer patients to their studio with confidence. They take the time to know their clients and understand the importance of modifying exercises and body mechanics to safely maximize clients physical potential.
