  Visited Bob's Discount Furniture in Wayne, NJ on 6.5.18. I bought some items out of the pit area. I was helped by a salesman named Mark who absolutely took his job seriously. His customer service was impeccable; one of the best experiences I've ever had as a consumer. I was trying to make a decision on a couch that caught my eye but one of the recliner seats seemed to be loose. Mark went and got a screw gun and I got my wrench set and he went to work tightening the loose screws. Needless to say, I purchased the piece because Mark closed the deal by taking the time to make the situation right. Thanks Mark for your great service and hopefully someone in management will see this review and show you the appropriate appreciation that you rightfully deserve...

  I am forced to downgrade my original review to one star. In fact, while in the store, the salespeople are instructed to have their customers right a review on the spot, which I did, thinking, what could go wrong from here? The answer - everything. This was a simple order. One bed and a mattress. They got the mattress part correct, but it took three deliveries to get the bed correct. The wrong bed was delivered twice. After the first time, I spoke with customer service and they checked the order and scheduled a new delivery. However, they sent the same incorrect bed. It was only after I returned to the store to find the inventory sheet with the style number did I discover the salesperson ordered the wrong bed. How he did that is anyone's guess - he was looking directly at the inventory sheet in our presence and we assumed he was ordering the correct bed. Please have your salesperson show you the order number before he puts it through, and confirm it with your own two eyes. If I hadn't discovered the error myself, it's likely we have continued to receive the same incorrect item. We received no apology from the store, and nothing for the added inconvenience of preparing for three deliveries (the bed was for my mother-in-law, so we have to drive over to her place three separate times). Do NOT write your review until AFTER you get your furniture!

  Chris G is the REAL MVP. My boyfriend and i am to Bobs on a whim to look around. We found a set we liked but weren’t sure it would fit in our new living room. Chris G helped us narrow down a great selection and help cater to our specific tastes. We ended up with a gorgeous couch, ottoman AND rug for an amazing price and will be back to finish decorating our apartment. Best experience at a furniture store to date!

  GIGI was amazing!!!! I am pretty sure she spent about 3 hours overall with us. She was so patient and informative. At no point did we feel rushed or left alone. She was always close enough to answer questions but distant enough for us to make private decisions. She had a wonderful disposition. She was not like your average pushy sales person. She truly seemed invested in our family and what would work best for our everyday life. By far best experience furniture shopping ever. I can't leave out Mark. He was working in the outlet section and he worked right up until closing time without rushing us. He was so helpful and didn't mind that we kept asking questions. Great guy! I can't wait to go back and get more stuff.
