  Had a great evening, saw The Baylor Project (A husband. A wife. An astonishing debut.). The food and atmosphere is very nice. Blue Alley Club, don't miss it. It is down an alley.

  Fantastic night out. Great vibe in a small club with great live music. Not a bad seat in the house. What a great historic night club. And the seafood gumbo was surprisingly good!

  Small venue with tables for two and four close to stage. Volume was perfect; not too loud. Food was tasty but expensive and drinks were reasonably priced. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. We got to talk to band after set.

  Blues Alley is a great comfortable top notch jazz club , particularly with the closing of the Bohemian Caverns on U street. The only reason I did not give it 4 or 5 stars is the music sets are way too o short. 55 or maybe 60 minutes most of the time. But that's all you get from most jazz clubs, at least that what I have experienced and what I've read. Blues Alley really brings in top flight talent and has done so for many years. Go and enjoy the music, appreciate it the hour goes quickly.

  Awesome, intimate space for top notch jazz. Saw the Baylor Project here and they were fantastic. Food is not their primary focus but the crab cakes were legit and the bartender was really good. I'd recommend sitting at the bar. Great view of the stage and you'll get your food and drinks faster.
