  I have not yet done a report on Yelp, but because of the absolutely horrendous service that we received, feedback we gave to manager, and no response back or apology, I figured it was warranted. My boyfriend and I went in to dine here on two separate occasions-the first taking important clients, because I'd been coming here for years and thoroughly enjoyed it, and this last time last week. After coming in and placing our order, we saw another table come in and sit about 20 minutes after we sat down. Our appetizers took at least 30 minutes to come out and they received their entire meal within that time. Having worked in the service industry for quite some time, I was fairly patient, but once it had been 45 minutes, figured we'd ask what was taking so long. We were told by a server that tickets are not prepared in order, but that chefs will take them on availability and that ours was put in with a chef after a large order. The manager then came over and told us she had comped an appetizer out of our, easily, $160 bill. She kept saying she wasn't trying to make excuses, but kept giving them to us. I finally just said whatever, and her reply? She said "So you're just going to sit there and say whatever?" This absolutely infuriated me. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect, ESPECIALLY after a restaurant was in the wrong!!! She got upset and angry-completely unprofessional-and we ended up leaving. After this, I wrote an email to their general manager to explain what had happened and never received even so much as an apology from this pathetic excuse of an establishment. I had been coming here for years and bringing friends as well as clients here and this experience was the biggest slap in the face. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I NEVER write reviews for everything but am absolutely flabergasted at not only the disrespect of the manager that was on duty that night, but of the general manager to not even offer an apology for how awful we were treated. I can assure this restaurant that the business we used to bring you is gone. We will never be back and will make sure that everyone we know doesn't support your disgusting excuse of an establishment! If you continue to treat great paying customers like this, you will fail. Based on other comments on both here and Yelp, it seems as though what is lacking of your staff is compassion, friendliness, and attentiveness as the "service is okay". In today's day and age, especially with all the options to choose from in Denver, you need to be on point and with the "okay" experience you provide, you will not last long.

  we were greeted and sat immediately. the bartender took our drink order as soon as we sat down. our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and also very helpful with suggestions. food was phenomenal! this is the second blue sushi location we have visited and they never let us down.

  In my opinion, one of the best happy hour spots in downtown Denver. They recently expanded their happy hour menu to include even more items which is fantastic. The specialty cocktails are all good, and always strong! They have some pretty creative sushi rolls that I don’t see other places (try the South Pacific for sure). While the sushi bar can get backed up sometimes, the servers are quick and friendly. Overall, a surprisingly great spot at the outer edge of the 16th Street Mall that’s worth a visit!

  If I could eat here everyday of my life I honestly would! I've brought most of my family and even the ones who don't like sushi loved it! I don't think you'll find a more beautiful, well kept, and delicious sushi place! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The sushi tastes fresh and the service is fast and helpful. I recommend the Crunchy LA if you are a beginner and or Hotel Cali! You get your moneys worth during Happy Hour when most sushi is half priced and margaritas are $3 and a must have is the Spicy Edamame so good! Thank you staff of Blue Sushi for making every experience I've had here amazing! 💕

  We had a very tentative server who made our experience great. The ambiance of the restaurant is very hip and it had an awesome vibe. We didn't have to wait for a table and the sushi was delicious. This is a great restaurant to visit if you are in the downtown area and looking for good drinks in a good time. not particularly kid friendly but great for a night out!
