  On 5/23/18 I visited this location only to find it CLOSED. There was a sign posted with a bunch of verbiage. The most memorable part was "CLOSED AND TAKEN OVER BY THE LANDLORD". This was suppose to be a belated Birthday meal so imagine my disappointment. We drove for over 1hr with traffic. Before we left I checked Google for hours of operation. It was listed as being OPEN and CLOSING at 9pm. The courteous thing to do would be to at least update your operating status . Corporate needs to step in and at least make sure your customers know to visit other locations because this one is CLOSED!😒

  What can I say, always love coming here. Food is always excellent and I love the two types of salsa they bring to the table. The sweet potato chips are the best! Brunch here is awesome as well. So much food to choose from. This particular location is special for me. This was mine and my wife’s first date.

  Their happy hour is fantastic! Shout out to the bartender Brett too! He was very friendly and on top of everything, great service!

  Shame on the Blue Mesa Bartender 's 2 weeks ago on Easter Sunday my daughter and I were waiting for a table and decided to grab a drink before brunch and waited for 10 mins with no service and the bartenders completely ignored us. A lady walks up has a seat(I told my daughter watch this She'll get served before we will) and the bartender comes immediately over and took her order and placed a napkin. We said excuse us we've been sitting here and no one has served us and he said "Ok what's up"... needless to say I left the bar and the restaurant. I've patronized Blue Mesa for the 5 yrs. I've lived in Dallas and never have I been treated this way. Not sure I can ever come back again. Horrible that someone would even be employed with that kind of attitude! Shame on you sir shame! I wish I'd been videoing... biases have no place in Customer Service jobs! Todd gets an F!

  I don't know how else to put it but this place sucks. The food is way overpriced. It's presented well yes. But the food is crappy. It's like microwave or hotel food. The salsa is not real salsa taste like ketchup or marinara sauce. It's a shame because I have been excited about eating at this place and I was highly disappointed. I will never eat here again. This is what happens when people open up a restaurant and don't know what real Mexican food is like. It's not even text Mex. STOP BEING CHEAP IT'S NOT HARD. Take the salsa for instance all you need are tomatoes onions jalapenos cilantro garlic salt pepper and lemon. That's not what I was served. On the border is way better and cheaper. Sorry but the truth hurts
