  Great shop! Nathan was so helpful and willing to go above and beyond to get me set up with a MIM P Bass at a very fair price. Killer selection of guitars and basses. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality instrument and great staff.

  Black Book is the best vintage guitar shop in Portland. Nathan is knowledgeable and fair. Look no further, you found your new favorite guitar shop. A million stars-my highest rating.

  The best gear in town, very knowledgeable staff, and absolutely perfect repairs. Other spots might be cheaper, but none are better. (Edit: this wasn't meant to say that they're expensive; I found the rates on fixing up my guitars to be quite fair.)
