  Love the variety and great prices , but the staff is horrible . We were shopping and the manager as soon as it strike 9:30pm (store closes at 11pm) started hollering over the speakers we needed to hurry , and continue to rush everyone in the store by counting down as if we were on a race . She proceeded to tell everyone still shopping that if we didn’t hurry the cashiers were not going to be there to scan everyone’s items . I understand they want to go home , but their job is to close the entrance but allow the shoppers already inside get their things peacefully without threatening to not scan our things if we weren’t in line by 10:30pm. The cashiers are very unprofessional gossiping so much to the point that our items were being scan & put in the cart in slow motion because they were more focused on their own conversations. I won’t be returning which is sad because they have amazing products , but I rather drive further out and be respected as a paying customer .

  Not happy with the move to so many Self- Serve checkout counters. It is inconvenient to place large items on the self-serve counter to scan (like the 40 pound bird seed), there is no hand scanner for customer use and items back up on the counter triggering a message to remove items but there is no place to put them if you are still scanning items from your cart. On top of that you then have to load your cart before the next person can start. I never had any problems with the cashiers who seemed to be very efficient at scanning and loading into the cart. Why ruin a good thing by creating more chaos. Is there a cost savings by having fewer staff man those lines? I may rethink my renewal.

  This BJ location turn upside down. It's horrible with the new self check out lanes. I'm sorry who was the brilliant manager to do 16 lanes of self check out and only have 3 to 4 actual cashier workers. Before the lines used to go fast and never had huge i mean HUGE! lines till they bought in the self check out lanes. They needed to test it out with a few maybe 3 or 4 lanes of self check out not 16! I honestly think I wont be coming back unless they change or bring back more cashier and reduce these crazy unnecessary crowding when it comes to check out. No wonder people are shopping more online then the stores, because of inefficiency decision when deploying new experience for your customers.

  Review after 5-6 weeks of shopping here. Today: They wouldn't take the coupons they mailed me after i joined. None of them were expired and they were pretty general coupons; $3 off fresh meat, $2 off fresh bakery item, $3 off any cleaning item, (any brand), $2 off any produce item, $3 off Their store brand frozen item, $2 off fresh vegetable purchase, $3 off Wellesley farms juice or coffee item, $5 off any apparent item. These coupons were mailed to me as part of my membership. They didn't honor them. They decided to audit my entire purchase & wanted to even rescan two carts of stuff, after i already scanned my coupons, put them in the bin and after they already emptied the bin mid scan. One even threaten to just not honor any of my coupons. They said i had too many coupons. I carefully planned this haul. This is my family i preplan their meals and i stick to a budget. I plan all my trips and every item in my carts are intentional purchases, & try to keep impulse items to a minimum. Up and until this point i visited here weekly for my fresh items (milk, eggs etc) and have had a fantastic experience thus far. Today was a huge disappointment.

  It's nice to have a self check out but not for 90% of your registers AND on a FRIDAY NIGHT. I guess I won't be coming back here any time soon and if I do, it will be for two or 3 items. SORRY, THAT'S JUST HOW I FEEL.
