::Came in with a friend who was looking for a guitar. I remembered from when I lived in Phx that Bizarre was a pretty good store and I like supporting small business instead of places like Guitar Center. However, we had a really "bizarre" experience. I want for you guys to stay in business and do good. There are not many non-corporate music stores left. But my friend will never come back and if I ever visit Phx again I would be unlikely to come back. I am in my 40s and own several nice guitars and amps. My friend was actually looking for a guitar to buy that day. We didnt look like bums. I'm not sure what the problem was. The salesman ignored us. We walked around for a while and I guess he thought we might "touch" something, so he walked up to us and said "Just to let you know, dont touch anything" or something to that effect. And then he walked away. Didnt ask if he could help us with anything or any of the usual customary salesperson talk. Then he just walked to the other side of the room and sort of watched us with his arms crossed. At this point my friend said lets go, but I wanted to get a slide so I walked over to the counter and asked the salesperson about slides. He was disinterested, but I ended up picking a slide which he grabbed and started ringing up mid-sentence. I had to stop him and force him to sell me the other one I wanted (I wanted to get one glass and one metal). He acted like it was an inconvenience. I understand that you guys arent Guitar Center, but if you want customers you really need to improve your service and atmosphere. We felt very uncomfortable and there was no reason for it. We were two guys who had money in hand and we were not rude or anything.

::We go here for my teen sons drum needs. These people are exceptionally nice and very knowledgeable. They also have a 30 day layaway plan which Is nice for holiday gift buying

::Amazing store, with the absolute best selection of guitars anywhere. The staff is totally cool, they know what they're doing, and what they're talking about. Super chill, my favorite guitar shop. Nice selection of drums as well!

::Excellent selection of guitars. Staff/owner offered bad customer service. A gifted guitar with proof of purchase reciept was not honored for the free "tune-up" deal because it had been gifted during Christmas. Basically, it felt like being accused of stealing after 2 employees couldn't answer my basic questions about the deal and brought the owner over, all with a doubtful and condescending tone. As to my other questions, those were all ignored. The owner then proceeded to try and sell $20 guitar strings for a brand new guitar. This is bad customer service and false advertising. Although the guitar was brand new with proof of purchase from this store, the attitude of the entire establishment was to find any way to not honor the deal. Don't waste your time on this shop.
