Great selection at a fair price! Plus my favorite alcoholic, coach Q, is a big fan!

Great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The beer selection is great and seems to have good turnover, so when you are hunting for something less common, it's not last years stock. Prices are pretty good, sometimes items can be found for cheaper elsewhere, but you are unlikely to have the variety anywhere else. The beer is divided out by region, with aisles dedicated to Midwestern beers and specifically Chicago beers respectively. The wine selection easily takes up 2/3 of the floorspace on the very large facility, including a tasting room in back that holds various events.

This is a review for the Tasting Room. It’s a really beautiful space (used to be the old Smith and Hawken building). It would be a great place for a party. And the wine they serve is really nice. But we were a little blown away by the staff though behind the bar. They were not as helpful as one would expect from a bar in a liquor store. We were surprised they didn’t ask us if we like the wine (we had 3 glasses!) or suggest a different option or even suggest we buy a bottle on the way out. There was hardly anyone in there and they didn’t even bother to walk to our table and ask how we liked it. Binny’s, you could really do better if you made this a more engaging tasting experience. Train the bartenders to know what they are serving. Otherwise it’s just another boozer with no personality. You have a superb wine store but the Tasting Room was really a let down.

Liquor galore! You can find anything and everything you're looking for here. The employees are very knowledgeable! They are always willing to help. We walked in on our way to a byob restaurant. We had no idea what type of sake to grab, one of the employees was sent to the sake area to meet us and recommended a few great ones. We ended up purchasing two of his recommendations, and he was so right. I'm glad we stumbled along this place!
