  This was the first place I came to after learning that my hair would be falling out. And since there were so many good reviews, I was certain I had come to the right place, BUT my experience was not as warm as described. First off she did want to help me without an appointment so I can back the next day only for her not to want to invest much time with me. I guess she thought I wouldn’t pay what she was asking for one of her wigs. I was prepared to pay double. Instead she said I don’t have anything your size and that I should go to Wig World. She didn’t even attempt to show me any other items, maybe a hat or scarf... I was at a despairing stage in my treatments I’m sure she could have already identified that with all her experience in the field. I left there feeling embarrassed and misplaced.

  I lost my hair due to chemo and this was my first ever visit to a wig shop. I was impressed by the kind attention and respect I was shown as well as compassion shown towards another customer. Getting the right fit for a wig is really important. Don't "'take your chances" online. What looks good on the mannequin may not fit the shape of your head. Cookie really took her time to find me a look that might just be the wig I will end up with. I didn't buy my first visit because i want to be sure it's the one for me, but she was very respectful and there was no pressure. Their wigs are high quality and they have a nice selection of scarves, caps, and turbans. I walked out with a nice comfy warm head covering, and I'm definitely happy to recommend them and I'll definitely be back.

  So, my mother wanted a wig for her birthday and we had been looking around our local beauty supply stores and she could not find one that suited her wishes. I brought up the idea that we should take a gander at Billie Jean's and we were met by probably the most gracious and informative visit we had since we began our search. We met with Cookie; she was patient and kind to us, showed around the store and had my mother fitted for several wigs. She even took the time to make my mother's hair into pony tails, so that the wig would fit better. We ended up with a beautifully styled and teased polyester wig - it was age appropriate and contemporary. Cookie did not try to up-sale us on additional products, but even so the wigs are still expensive, but if you are in the market for nice quality wig, you probably already know that. Overall, we will be back - I like the friendliness and the idea that Cookie is helping her mother run the shop. It is always nice to support people directly instead of big businesses.

  Went shopping there with my mom. Cookike was very thorough in wig fitting, explaining wig care and soothing concerns.
