  If there was a way for me to give 6 or 7 stars, I would! First, the restaurant’s ambience is nice... elegant but not stuffy. But the food was out of this world! Every item we ordered looked like it was out of a magazine and the special ingredients made the flavors of the dishes so memorable and delicious. Each course was a new, exciting and wonderful experience. I’ve never eaten a meal I have enjoyed more. Last, what made the experience was the service from our waiter, Rob. He was knowledgeable and was very helpful with suggestions. He seemed to be right there before we even knew we needed him. It’s not often you get that level of service. His goal was to ensure we had the best dining experience possible. None of the attitude you can sometimes get with high-end restaurants. Now, with all that being said, if you enjoy the full experience with a cocktail, salad/appetizer, wine, entree, dessert, and coffee, you can expect to pay a pretty penny. But - for me - it was totally worth it. There is no way I’ll return to San Antonio without coming back to Biga.

  My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and my birthday here this weekend. Beautiful restaurant, good food, but I would return for the service. I've never been celebrated more warmly by strangers. The chef sent out a special taste to us and our server treated us to champagne. I don't know if our table was special, but it felt special. It was right by a window overlooking the river and behind a curtain. Really wonderful experience. One word of wisdom though-- we chose the restaurant based on a menu and pictured items that were not on the menu. Apparently, the menu changes daily. It wasn't food that we would have normally asked for, but it was quite a culinary experience. *Reposted review on personal account*

  The food was fantastic. Lamb was awesome and the quail and Axis deer were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. My wife loved the creme brulee. The setting was very nice. As it was a romantic dinner they sat us in a private corner with a view of the river. Our server was extremely attentive without being invasive. Just the perfect balance of service and privacy. The manager Rudy even stopped by to check on us and congratulate us on the occasion. Great dining experience and the exotic menu is always changing so something different every visit.

  A very nice experience with Biga last night. Great wine list, cocktail was on point and my steak was cooked nicely. Service was attentive and friendly. View of the river walk varies depending on where you sit. Definitely recommend.

  My husband and I came to Biga for our first anniversary dinner and loved every moment. Our server, Monica (spelling? Sorry!), was excellent! The food was delicious. My husband was talking about the short ribs for the rest of the night. I'm a vegetarian and I was really happy to have a dish that wasn't pasta. The lime bean dish was perfectly seasoned. Lastly, the souffle we had for dessert was so good and fluffy. Thank you for the great experience. We're going to make dinner at Biga an anniversary tradition!
