  Parking lot, great discounted merchandise, lots of variety, food, electronics, baby, toys, kids, household, pets, seasonal/holiday section, appliances, paper products, laundry/ cleansers, feminine/hygiene products, medicines, small tools/car selection etc friendly customer service.

  Great deals on things. For example, this past week I bought a 14" queen mattress for $379. Add $10. For a box spring. They have sales only twice a yr n I finally got one. I have been sleeping better since I bought it.

  Usually friendly staff and prices can't be beat. Would like it more if generators & tools etc were still in greater numbers since guys like me always are drawn in by guy stuff. Nice place for inexpensive furnishing a home like drapes , linens.....

  I've never really thought of Big Lots first when I'm thinking to go shopping but DANG I have been twice this week (motivated by a sale I saw online) and the staff has completely won me over! Don was so helpful in store & Daisy was just the sweetest on the phone. You could tell she was busy but she still took the opportunity while on the phone to focus on me & you don't get service like that when you shop for bargains. Way to set the trends guys!

  Pretty good selection. Staff is mostly people who have worked there a while so they have a good idea of what's in stock and where & are pretty friendly. But Don is the best! Plus, he makes sure items are priced so you know what you're spending and you can check out faster. It really does make a difference cause sometimes the bar codes don't scan. Overall, I think this is the best Big Lots.
