  The library itself is fine. The policies, however, are not. I'm a patron of another library within the library system. When I called the reference desk to ask if I could pick up a video game, I was told I was allowed. I also asked if there were any restrictions because I was a patron of another library. I was assured that there would be no issue picking it up. Because you cannot request video games to be sent to your home library (either in person or on the library's online catalog), I made the trip out of my way to pick it up. I was turned away at the circulation desk due to the fact that I was not a patron of Mineola Library, and could not become a patron unless I lived there. I would advise anybody outside of Mineola to not go to this library to pick anything up, because they are exclusive.

  The place is totally great, there's great stuff, activities no can not go to, it's just pure greatness
