  Worst storytime I have been to in several counties. Not once but twice I walked out. It isn't very kid or adult friendly. Both children and adults get scolded. (I have never even used that word "scolded" before) but that's what happened. It's judgy and disappointing. When you go anywhere that is supposed to be toddler oriented.. sitting down and staying still, talking, trying to play with others is healthy and normal and shouldn't be looked at as "distracting". It Needs a new storyteller.

  Architecture wise it is no very interesting but it sits in a lovely urban woods setting. Like most libraries they offer many programs some free and some require reasonably memberships dues. Two programs of interest to me is the Chappaqua Garden Club and a knitting club both meet once a month and have a large following. The library offers a decent collection of digitized books and quarterly publications.

  Very pleasant atmosphere good to read a book find a book get on the computer employers are friendly and helpful great for the kids the family or just alone as an adult needing some time away
