  Provided expert guidance with a lot of patience. They are knowledgeable and sensitive to our needs. They removed carpeting and padding on stairs quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

  Great service!! Dealt with a couple of people at Better Carpet who gave helpful recommendations for carpeting a brownstone hallway. After I ordered the carpet, they were patient while I rescheduled the installation multiple times for various reasons. They came to install on Labor Day. The job took all day, but WOW!! High quality installation with great fitting around curved stair treads and woodwork. Result totally transformed the space. I could not be more thrilled!

  This place is a total joke, and completely unprofessional. I spent an hour in their store, and finally chose a runner for my stairs. They indicated that they would come out to my home on Tuesday to measure my stairs and then call me to give me a price and set up a date for installation. After I worked hard to ensure that someone would be at home for their visit, they did show up and measured, and I never heard from them again. I called them a week later (surprised to have not heard from them), and they said, "Yes we show that we measured your stairs but we have no note of the carpet that you selected. Can you come back in and show us?" As a person with a full-time job and 2 kids, they LAST thing that I have time for is to visit a store YET AGAIN because they didn't even write down what carpet I selected (isn't it a CARPET STORE...wouldn't one think that was the MINIMUM REQUIREMENT of their employees?!!?!?" Don't waste your time....because trust me, it WILL be wasted!
