  These guys were terrific. My first foray into jewelry design was my own engagement ring, which I modeled in Rhino myself and wanted 3d cast. It had a lot of fine detail and was something of an unconventional setting. I had no past experience and needed someone else to both take responsibility for the security of the setting and to execute it well. I also needed someone fast (the design had taken way longer than anticipated). I had been trying to deal w/ one of the other much larger companies that does huge volume of fabrication globally, but they only deal w licensed jewelers, didn't want to take responsibility for the setting, could take a long time, even just evaluating the model and getting back to me, etc etc. I called Best-Cast and they were immediately responsive, very personable, answered all of my ignorant and nervous questions helpfully, and took the model via email, the stone via snail-mail, and had a finished product to me in 2 weeks, all for about $450 (almost half of which was the cost of just the metal itself). That was for the 3d printing, the casting, the gold, the setting, the finishing, the shipping, etc! Plus come to find out the president of the company set it himself because it was so unusual. I am just about to send them the model of my wedding bands for the next round. Thank you all so much!
