  Best buy has wonderful locations. I've been to many in several states. This location is not one of the good ones. I had an appointment with the Geek Squad for 10 a.m. The doors opens at 10 a.m. No associates were present at the Geek Squad station, so I stood at the area that indicated where a line should be formed. After 10 minutes of not seeing a technician, I inquired from an associate from a nearby cashier (located no more than 10 feet away) if anyone was here. She stated someone was in the backroom. I informed her that I had an appointment and asked her if it was a first-come-first served appointment procedure. She told me no. The tech finally came out. Although he tried to be nice, he accused me of being late for my appointment. I corrected him by informing him that I arrived at the store entrance at 9:55 a.m. and I was the first customer inside once the doors were opened. He finally assisted me 10 minutes later. He took 1 hour just to process my laptop for a drop off. Althewhile he stopped periodically to help patrons who kept passing by to ask him to fix their computers. The only thing I had to do was drop off my computer for repair. That should have been no more than a 10 to 15 minutes process, since extensive repairs needed to be done. When my repairs took over 3 weeks, I contacted customer service. Customer tried to contact this location for information. No one picked up the phone. According to customer service, this was not the norm. Customer service was never able to reach the Geek Squad for this location, so Best Buy ended up giving me a credit to replace my damage computer. I will never return to this location. I'll probably shop at the Gateway location in the future. So far, I've only had good experiences with the Gateway store.

  The best customer service ever! I love coming to shop here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always walk out the store very satisfy with my purchase. I definitely will be back again!

  I had to share this experience. After paying Best Buy Kings Plaza to back up my files prior to sending my laptop out for repair, they are now telling me that the files weren't saved anywhere. They're offering to refund the back up cost. How the hell does that help me? Does that money in any way compensate for my lost files? Would I have paid for the service if I wanted to risk losing my files? I AM SOOOO FREAKING MAD RIGHT NOW. What the hell am I supposed to do?
