  I should have read the reviews before heading to Berry Cleaners. Their service is BERRY BAD! The guy at the counter is super unfriendly. I guess they have so much business that he doesn't need more. Their charges are extremely high. $14 to sew a seam on a dress & $10 for tiny patch work. Their dry cleaner job is questionable, at $12 per piece. Thanks but NO THANKS!

  I’ve been going to this cleaners for years now and they haven’t failed me yet! (Knock on wood). They greet me by name every time I come in, have done rush cleanings for emergencies, and saved my favorite coat from disrepair. Love Berry Cleaners!

  Awful. I had been in a store a couple of times when people came in very angry that the cleaners had ruined their garments. The customer service i witnessed that day was so bad I walked out with all my stuff because it alarmed me. Last week I returned to Paris with a new coat I spent $500 on and only wore twice. When it was condensed in my suitcase one of the buttons had fallen off. I was having a busy and stressful week and wanted someone to fix it quickly so I brought it to Berry Cleaners and told them ONLY to fix the button. I specifically said DO NOT dry clean. He said ok and took the coat. I got the coat got back last night and of course I was charged $18.00 for a dry clean service and when I tried it on the fabric is completely different now and unwearable. It’s so itchy and is a magnet for everything that touches it. This was such a special and unique coat that I can’t just get anywhere and I’m so disappointed about how much money I spent on this for only two good wears. When I called to confront them, they did not deny that they washed it without my permission. He simply said “yeah we cleaned it”. When I called another highly rated dry cleaner to tell them what happened and read them the fabrics they told me that it’s a special blend and that it should always be hand washed and not dry cleaned ever. Long story short I’m furious and do NOT trust these people with anything of value.

  These guys are absolutely amazing. I've lived in NYC for 15 years and never had such a wonderful experience with a dry cleaning business. They pick up and deliver, guys are great, quality of cleaning is awesome (no lint or fuzz balls on sweaters), prices are good (btw cheaper than most places in W'burg), and they're the only guys that do dry cleaning on site in Williamsburg that I'm aware of, so if you really need something ASAP, they're your best bet. Really great local business.

  They do all the dry cleaning with their own machines instead of being sent out to a factory. This seems to be the only REAL dry cleaners in the neighborhood, not some middleman sending it out to get the job done.
