I checked in late due to my flight being delayed. According to the front desk they sold my room already even though I prepaid the full amount for 5 nights. I was stranded and had to book a hotel last minute. On top of that they said they will be charging me for the first night even though I can't stay there. Filed a complaint. Do not due service here. Get a big hotel chain instead. All major hotel chains allow late check ins and won't sell off your room.

The pair who checked me in were kind, courteous and informative. The parking lot is small but, we arrived at 3:00pm and were the only car in the lot, and there did appear to be ample street parking. We enjoyed the neighborhood and thought the location was ideal - a convenient store around the corner, multiple cafes within a half mile, and a ten minute walk to the nearest BART (subway) station. Within the room, the floors looked clean but felt sticky. There were some long, black hairs on the shower towels in the bathroom that we (optimistically) assumed were from the staff as the woman who checked us in had a long, black ponytail. The shower, however, had pubic hairs on the floor. It was clear no one had checked inside the shower the last time the room was cleaned. There also isn’t any shelf/space inside of the shower for your shampoo, soap, etc. so, you’ve got to use the bathroom sink as your shelf and open the shower door as needed. The room and building felt safe. It was apparent the owners were in the process of updating things. Would have given 5 stars because this was a great deal for the price but, shower pubes are hard to look past.

Absolutely appalling service. My partner booked a room for a few hours, so that we could leave our bags and see the town before I had to leave to the airport. We arrived at the front desk, and my partner showed the manager the confirmation number and email, with all of the correct information. However, because my partner booked it under their legal/dead name, we were denied entry. We had to call booking.com, and the woman was extremely helpful. The woman we dealt with though, was screamed at by the manager, who didn't want to discuss or help us with the situation. It was an obvious case of discrimination.

This place was utterly disgusting. We weren’t even able to last an hour in the room because of the smell. It was supposedly a non-smoking room, but it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke I almost threw up. We weren’t even there an hour but the hotel refused to refund our money (that’s $85 down the drain). The smell was so bad it lingered on our clothes for the entire night (like that Seinfeld episode about the BO). The whole experience was traumatic. The room was dirty and gross. I was afraid to sit on the bed because I was worried about bed bugs. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in some doozies. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Non smoking room but burn hole in cover.(pretty cover though) hair in the sink and tub Shoe prints in the tub. Weird table and set up. Can and bottles under the bed, old hair clip. Definitely needs better cleaning. Quiet, good TV channels, hot water and plenty of towels. Also not bad pricing.
