::Excellent fun small houseboat Casita; walk to North End, Bunker Hill, Science Museum, USS Constitution &c. No, that is not thunder twice a day; that is the Constitution gun salute to the colors. Be aware this is not a hotel, so there was not daily maid service, for example. But, there was nothing lacking of practical value, and ease of access & charm more than make up for any putative "big city hotel amenities" one may a priori be skeptical of missing. We will definitely do it again ... and I did start speculating about actually owing such a pied-a-mer.

::My stay on Rozinante was awesome! The marina was simple to find by car, and I took a water taxi ($12) from Logan Airport (15-20 min max) to the marina. The staff at the marina could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and the boat itself, while older, was sturdy and well-located in the marina for optimal privacy. The bed was comfy and both the a/c and heaters provided just the right temperatures for relaxing or sleeping. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. I would be hard pressed to decide which I enjoyed more, having drinks on the deck or relaxing in the jacuzzi. My only admonition to prospective guests is that this boat (like others in its class) is not for really large people or people who have any ambulatory issues. The head with shower is very compact; the ceilings are low, and the entry is narrow and steep. I had NO issues but I am 5'4" and fit. I would definitely stay on board again if I'm in Boston. She was yards away from the Freedom Trail and the parts of Boston and Charlestown tourists want to see.

::Staff is very courteous, they escort you right to your boat. They are very knowledge of the surrounding areas. Also was able to walk right to dinner and a nice desert place around the corner just park once and walk and walk it off. Recommend the shaley was at the end of the dock and very private great for the price but was a little Rocky because it's right in the wake zone but you'll go right to sleep😉

::A million dollar view at half the price as on land, our stay at the Sea Chalet was beautiful. Be prepared that this room rocks more than most other rooms, but that is part of the fun of staying on a house boat. It's like sleeping on a water bed, except the entire room moves. We also used the grill at the marina and enjoyed a nice bbq dinner on the deck there. I recommend the experience of staying at Bed & Breakfast Afloat, for a night or two.

::We stayed on Inn The Moment and Sea Chalet. The first night Sea Chalet, is a small houseboat with an amazing view! It's at the end of one of the docks and the view is unobstructed by other boats. I sat for hours at night on the small private deck admiring the view of the lights shinning on the water. It has a full bathroom that was actually pretty big for a small boat. And it had plenty of hot water. It does move if someone is walking around on it so be prepared for that. It is a boat and does sway a bit, but it really didn't bother me personally. I can not stress enough how beautiful the view was, I loved it! The second night Inn The Moment was much larger than the Sea Chalet and had a living/dinning/kitchen area. Plus 2 bedrooms and 2 small bathrooms. You do have to pay extra if you want to use the second bedroom and bath. It was very cozy and much more spacious than I expected. My fiancée is 6ft tall and could easily stand up without bumping his head anywhere. It also has a private deck area overlooking the water but you do have to look over other boats to see it. The bathrooms are more typical boat restrooms and are very small. In the Moment felt more like a space I could stay comfortably for a couple days and didn't want to leave. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. And the other people staying on boats in the marina were all very friendly. The only con we had was Inn The Moment had no hot water in the bathroom. We notified them and a staff member came and turned it on and there seemed to be hot water in the kitchen but none in the bathroom. I mentioned it when checking out and they asked how we liked it other than that lol. I was a little surprised they didn't offer a small refund or a discount on a future stay. But other than my freezing cold shower that really woke me up it really was a lovely experience. And would highly recommend staying there and we will hopefully return for another stay at some point. We live somewhat in the area and go to Boston every chance we get and will definitely try to stay there again. I only wish that Inn The Moment was docked next to Sea Chalet so we could have the nicer boat with the perfect view and didn't have to decide between the two.
