I wanted a green tea cream puff but unfortunately that's a seasonal offering and not back until August. So I tried a green tea eclair with vanilla cream instead. I though it was quite small and the green tea flavor is a bit sweet . The vanilla cream was also too sweet and it wasn't that great. I heard good things about the green tea cream so I may come back to try it in the summer or just stick with B&S which has it all the time.

What can I say? These puffs are DEVIL BUT SO DELICIOUS! I couldn't get enough of it. I ordered 12 and finished them all within 1 hour.

Light and very delicious desserts. Fresh cream injected into flaky crust when ordered.

Loved Beard Papa's since I lived in San Francisco. Over the years, I've noticed the cream puffs had gotten smaller (unless it's just this small in NYC but I would think they'd keep it consistent). They're still freakin delicious though. The wait at the location wasn't very long but then again I was the only chrome m customer here when I ordered. Clean establishment. They were out of the green tea cream puffs unfortunately and I was looking forward to having those. Got a chocolate one, assorted mini ones, and this blueberry cheesecake one for the boyfriend (he loved it). I would go back to get a chance at that green tea one.

I guess in Japan, cream puffs are made by old bearded men. If you have never had one, you should definitely try one. Its really good. I like the original and the double chocolate. The staffs are normally friendly. Service with a smile. They recently renovated and made the front smaller. I hate it. There's less seating and overall just feels like customer seating is a second thought. Is 1 cream puff worth $3.50 before tax? The answer is no. A donut is +/- $1.50. So value wise it's just meh... But it's delicious and you'll keep coming back for more. Food Star - Yes Service Star - Yes Price Star - No Environment Star - yes Overall Impression Star - Yes Total: 4 Star
