Disappointed in the new bar. Rude bartenders multiple times that I’ve gone and just an overall unwelcoming feeling when you walk in. If you’re over 50, maybe a good time but not open to people who actually live in the neighborhood who just want to grab a drink or two. I understand we live in a city and cocktails are expensive, these cocktails are overpriced, especially when you’re also paying for the ambiance and a fun experience which I have not found is the case here. First time I went I was seated at the bar and the bartender took 10+ minutes to serve us at a bar or maybe 12 people and checked on us once the entire time. She handed us the check instead of asking it we wanted another drink and it wasn’t close to closing time. I can’t speak to the actual hotel itself, but in my opinion it’s not worth your time or money if you’re looking for a nice drink in the neighborhood.

As a Beacon Hill local, I really wanted to love this place. It’s a great location and has so much potential. I was hoping my poor experience the first time I went to their bar was just an off day, but I went again with a group and had the same experience. The bar is unwelcoming, the bartenders acted conceited towards my group, and made it feel like anyone under the age of 65 didn’t belong. At $25 per drink, I would expect more respectful service. If you’re looking for a good cocktail in the neighborhood, walk a few more blocks to 1928 instead.

The best hotel Ever and the best staff ever! The greatest thing is that everything is really close to the hotel and really easy to get anything you want! Train stations, culture places and the most beautiful thing… Boston Common

The new restaurant is so amazing! The layout and decorations are beautiful and cozy. Super friendly service with delicious food and drinks. Camila was a fantastic waitress, one of the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

Quite possibly my favorite hotel in the USA. Charming, stunning, makes you feel both pampered and at home at the same time. Location is sensational. Remodel must have cost a fortune every detail is perfection.
