  I went to this new salon for a haircut and I had such a pleasant, relaxing experience that I went back for balayage today. The reasons I like Be Beauty: 1) The salon is small and quiet, a welcome contrast to the chaotic environments of neighboring salons. You essentially get a private session because Dragan is the sole stylist (at least as of now). He handles everything from start to finish. 2) Dragan is personable, kind, and skillful. The compliments I receive are a testament to his talent and good judgment. 3) The Davines hair products are unlike any other and they make my bleached hair feel super soft. 4) The shampoo chair is comfortable and does not hurt my neck. Many thanks--I will definitely be back!

  The main stylist here is one of the best (if not the best) in Astoria! I highly recommend booking an appointment on their website. This is a smaller, boutique hair salon that does not disappoint! The customer service and attention to detail is top notch. The stylist here is very professional and truly cares about the needs of the client. Unlike the other larger salons in Astoria, you will feel far more relaxed and reassured that you’ll walk out looking your best. I will definitely be returning!

  I decided to give this new salon a try. The salon I was going to seemed so insanely busy, I didn’t find it a relaxing experience anymore. It was like a hair factory. This place is small with only 2 chairs. It is spectacular though. It is bright, clean and white with beautiful chandeliers and feature wall. Very clean and friendly; more spa like in feel. The stylist told me about the Davines product line and how it was going to be better for my hair. We picked a color and went for it. I love the color and my hair has never felt so soft after treatment. The wash chair is the MOST comfortable one I have ever experienced. SERIOUSLY. I have a short cut, which can be deceptively difficult, and I could not be more pleased. Such a different experience from the old salon. If you want to feel like you are a special client go here. You will not be disappointed. A true hair artist works here. I will be back!
