Cute small place with lots of old neon signage. Sandwiches available, but not made onsite. Didn't have as many local beers as I was hoping on draft. One thing about a lot of these Cincy places in older buildings: the acoustics are horrible. It was so loud from others talking in the back at the bar that I couldn't hear our own conversation at our tiny table at the front of the house.

Love this bar! They have the best, most friendly bartenders here.

I loved the customer service but food choices are very limited. I was there around 8:30 and all they had to offer was a small plate of pepperoni and cheese for 6.00 which was pulled from a small fridge at the bar covered in plastic wrap

After 2 years of extensive reclamation/rehab work on this venerable building, new owners Lori and Fred have restored this cincy landmark to its original form. Tin ceiling, tile floors, and a beautifully refinished wood bar, complete with columns and mirrors, along with antique phones, and a comfortable "back room" with a sumptuous leather couch, all has the bay horse back on the map... It's a must-visit... Local beers...especially Hudy...as well as craft offerings are complemented by delicious simple sandwiches and paninis, all at reasonable prices. The considerable and, to say the least, colorful history of the establishment is chronicled in articles and photos displayed throughout...located close to everything downtown I highly recommend this historical gem...closed most Sundays and Mondays...
