This was my first time in the area and I've never seen such a large one leveled Barns & Noble. It was clean and very organized. I loved the way there was a maze of levels tables that highlighted different genres.

B&N Bowie, Maryland, has always been a great place to spend relaxing time. I've been going there for over 20 years, with my children since they were small, and continue today as adults. The ONLY thing that we miss TERRIBLY are those INCREDIBLY COZY Comfy Chairs and couches 🛋 that we could sit on and decide thru stacks of books which ones to purchase. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and amazingly knowledgeable on books, authors, many subjects, and educational resources. If one is unfamiliar with a certain subject, you can bet that one of their co-workers does. That's what's so amazing about the BOWIE, Maryland location.

I love this store! Everything about it, and the staff is so friendly. Our school had our book fair there this weekend, and the staff went above and beyond do support our school!

Always a great experience in this store. They are one of the larger B&N in the DMV, so usually a great selection. Be sure to grab your books and then use the coupon that often prints out to get a snack for you or your little readers at the cafe.

This store is wonderful. It’s clean + organized, they’ve got a large selection of books in stock, and the staff is friendly + helpful. The best part is I can bring my son and he can have a full experience. Local libraries aren’t doing it for me, but this B&N has a really nice kids section, the books are low to the ground so young children can actually reach them, and has a toy section. I love that the toy section is on the other half of the store because it doesn’t distract from the books. We spent a good amount of time in both sections. We were able to be in there for nearly two hours, never running out of things to do.
