  The food was okay. The portion sizes were good. The service could have been better. Our orders were mixed up and 3 of them had to be recooked. I asked for a to go box but my food was discarded.

  Great little mom n pop place to eat. Great prices and the service was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming!

  I've only enjoyed their breakfast, and that's okay with me. Perfectly comfortable booth or bar seating, a menuful of venerated southern breakfast standards, and earnest service make every trip here a delight. My jaded sixteen years old even loves this throwback as a midtown favorite.

  I wanted to give this place a try because of all the good reviews. The place has character, no doubt, but to be honest, the food is not good. I had biscuits and gravy, and it came out cold, but would not have been good hot either. There is nothing special about this place other than it has history, and the staff is friendly. But you could make a better breakfast in your own kitchen.

  Traveling, my wife recommended this place for breakfast I was leary at first, I quickly warmed up to the local charm and authenticity of this place. The menu was no nonsense the service was great and the price was right. The staff was very friendly and engaging and the food was wholesome.
