  I have been hospitalized with pneumonia for my 2nd time in 2 weeks...All the staff on 5C & 5D are amazing...The staff took diesel on bathroom breaks John was the 1st one than Angela was 2nd...Graciela brought Rachel Ray dog food for diesel...Mo the house officer intitated the whole diesel experience...Bea the ER nurse was amazing...James the PCA poked me like 9 times until he got me in the top of the hand total awkward spot...Janie, Elizabeth, Angela, Jorge, Martin, Mo, Graciela, Marc, Maryna, Porsche, Angela, & Dolores has compassion and common sense you CANNOT GO TO SCHOOL AND LEARN COMPASSION OR GET COMMON SENSE you either got it or you don't...Thank you Downtown Baptist Hospital for all your hospitality...Diesel and I really appreciate it...

  This was the best emergency room visit I’ve ever had. Was in and out within an hour. Doctor and nurses were fast and efficient and moved on but were polite and answered questions. Made me feel at ease and the treatment my son needed.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND this hospital to noone. Horrible experience here. First and last time at this hospital. I will make sure to let people know NOT to go to this hospital. If I didn't have to give a star, I wouldn't even give it one.

  My aunt Had great care from PVA. 7th floor nurses were great! 5th floor nurses are going crazy! Too many patients and not enough nurses!!!. They are all to busy to listen, just not even on the same page with her care plan. This place is filthy....the floors in bathrooms are nasty and need a good scrubing... actually in all 3 rooms she was in! Sanitation is really lacking in patient rooms.

  I had my operation done in this Hospital. At first glance the hospital seems a bit old and so not up to date. Its clean of course but a little out of date. It was nothing compared to the absolutely wonderful staff. The nurses the Doctor and and everyone, even the cleaning staff were talkative and very polite. I have no complaints at all. My room was really clean. The x-ray and CatScan staff were extremely caring. I also acted like a bit of a baby and they were still patient with me. My friends and family were able to see me with no problems. I highly recommend this hospital for great service.
