Dr. Gardner and the staff squeezed both my dogs in at the end of the day. They took great care and the time to explain everything.

So many banfields aren’t the greatest... but this location is absolutely incredible. I’ve gone there for probably 100 things and they all take great care of my man. I also love the wellness plan (takes some pressure off)

I called this Banfield this morning because my cat crawled into my dryer while I was putting laundry away and ate a dryer sheet. We are on a wellness plan and always take our animals to Banfield for all of their medical needs. Naturally I was concerned about the toxins in the dryer sheet and called this Banfield to see if I could bring him in. The receptionist told me to call a pet poison control hotline and was totally not helpful. When I called the helpline it said they would charge me 50 dollars just to speak with someone. I thought that was completely insane, especially since all 3 of my pets are on wellness plans and we pay a monthly fee to avoid charges like this. I don't usually take my animals to this Banfield, but I recently moved and this was the closest location. Frustrated, I called the location in Mesa that I usually take my cat to and they told me to bring him in right away and he is currently there being treated. The vet said that it was good that I brought him in right away as he could have some serious complications from ingesting the dryer sheet. I wouldn't advise calling this location if you have an emergency or need any questions answered as they don't seem to care about the well being of my pet, and were just basically trying to get me off the phone. I will not be using this location for any of my pets needs and will continue to drive to Mesa.

So I go into a slight panic when my dog got hit in the eye with a tennis ball and was still doing on and off squinting with it after 24 hours- I felt like it was probably fine, but I didn't want to risk it and just wanted a professional to look at it real quick. Normally I go to the Tempe location, but they were booked up and could only do a drop off with a five hour turn around. I called around to other locations to see if there was any way I could get an in room appointment so I could just discuss things with the doctor before they just ordered testing. Everyone was booked and was only offering drop off. Then I called this location, Marci at the front desk was an absolute sweet heart. When she heard the concern in my voice, she asked me what was going on with my "kiddo", which I appreciated because my puppy is like my child, and she made arrangements to squeeze us in even though it was last minute. When we got there, the staff was awesome and explained the testing they may decide to do, what the process is, and what side effects it may cause after the fact. After taking my puppy in the back, they brought her back with Dr. Baxley, who is just amazing. She assured me my dogs eye would be just fine, she examined it and it looked healthy, she didn't see the need to go through/pay for extensive testing. All the ladies were super sweet to me and my dog, we are definitely doing all future appointments at this location!

We have all of our cats on wellness plans here. This Banfield is actually farther away than the one up on Elliott for us and we continue to frequent due to the amazing staff. Doctor Baxley is awesome and have gotten consistently good service, the vet techs all love what they do and do a great job. Thank you for all of your good work!
