The staff is friendly and I like the breakfast sandwiches and homemade cream cheese. If you want a quick, satisfying breakfast you can find it here.

Fairly tasty bagels, good for Pittsburgh. Friendly staff at this location.

I mean they're not the best bagels ever but the people are nice and the atmosphere is great. Much better than Einstein's or bagel places of that nature.

I went to the Bagel Factory this past Sunday hoping for an uplifting and satisfying breakfast. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the traditional bakery feel. The options were limited as it was later in the morning. Nonetheless, I walked up to the counter. Orated slowly and repeated for clarity, I placed my typical order: sesame bagel, untoasted, veggie cream cheese, add tomato and cucumber. After placing my order, the owner, who had just finished cashing out another customer, walked over to the prep station to help the employee with my bagel. He sparked up conversation and was very friendly. Now, at this point, I don't know what the hell happened. Either the employee miscommunicated my order to the owner or the owner misheard or something but whatever happened was absolutely tragic. I paid for my bagel and went on my cheery way. When I got home and opened the wrapping, I was shocked. I've never received such poor care and quality on a bagel. See pic. I've worked in the food industry and NEVER would I look at something like this and think it was OK to serve my customer. I wish I went back and asked the owner if he would have eaten this had it been served to him. Not only did it look like complete trash, but the bagel was toasted and had plain cream cheese. Honestly, the most pathetic bagel I've ever experienced. Let me remind you that the OWNER put my bagel together. Save yourself the disappointment and go get a bagel from Bruegger's.
