I'd say I had the worst Pad Thai but I feel like it shouldn't even be considered Pad Thai. I've noticed a lot of different asian resteraunts say they have Pad Thai when all it is, is some general noodles with lime and peanuts. This is what this places Pad Thai is like. It does not resemble Pad Thai in any way, it had zero tamarind in it. I ate some and threw the rest away. False advertising!!

They've redecorated and it is nicer inside than before, but very similar food with a respectable bump in price. I found the service was very unattentive; maybe just understaffed while they get on their feet. It will be a while before I go back - Way better food, service and prices at similar restaurants.

So on May 9, 2018 a friend and I went to Azia Palace in Roseville for a meal. She noticed the Pad Thai sign and we decided to try it. Virginia, the server, greeted us right when we walked in and we sat in a nice area with some beautiful art work. She took our drinks and returned quickly with them. I figure we were the only people in the restaurant so I expected quickness. Tea for me was hot and tasty, my friend got Pepsi, her favorite. I also got lemon water with two little lemons, not even a full half slice from a lemon, but they were juicy, but I augmented mine with more. I do love my lemon water. Both our meals came with a soup, but as a vegan I would not eat the egg drop soup, so my friend ate it. My meal came out first; I had the Garlic Lovers with Tofu and brown rice, options for white or fried too. My friend got her Pad Thai in a bit. The meals were huge! Not unusual for MN, but we both agreed that the seasonings were spot on. Her Pad Thai was creamy, seasoned and yummy, my garlic was so tasty and good and vegan! It was nice to not have someone ask me what vegan is, but Virginia did question if I wanted the chicken based egg soup. The owner, Scott came over to the table, and talked a bit about getting the place up and running, they have been open about 4 months. It is so great to have someone who has experience as restaurateurs who understands what good food is. The sign still has the old business there, but look for it between the Montessori school and taco bell. We will return and I would happily take vegans and vegetarians to this place to enjoy tofu, mock duck or just vegetables. See my pictures and judge for yourself. They do use Bite Squad too. Hours Mon – Thurs 10:30-9:30, Fri & Sat. 10:30 – 10, Sunday 11- 9.

New restaurant folks. The food is nice and fresh amd interesting. It is not your normal Chinese food. It is more expensive than your standard Chinese joint but well worth.

Azia Palace is proof that God loves us and wants us to eat excellent food. At the time of this writing, the old Willow Gate sign is still standing out front, but don't be fooled! Go in side and order anything off of the menu and you will be happy. I have been there three times in less than two weeks and I have probably gained 10lbs. The Chicken Pad Thai, extra spicy is so very good. Easily two meals and I'm kind of a pig. For comparison, my favorite Pad Thai USED TO BE from Sawatdee. Not anymore, Azia Palace is my new favorite. Also extremely high on my list are the Steamed Buns with Korean BBQ Chicken. All the flavors are so rich and fresh. Everything is served hot (temperature)! I've been there with friends and coworkers and they have all loved their entrees and appetizers, even eliciting the occasional "Wow, that's good!" from them. Take out or dine in, you need to try it.
