  This is one the best yoga studios on Long Island. It's a hidden gem. I've been practicing there for 6 years.

  Not just a yoga studio but a spiritual home. An entire range of classes are available--from challenging classes with arm balances and inversions to restorative classes and so many meditation options. The students and staff have created a true community so classes are warm and welcoming. What a find in a small Long Island town!

  Awaken Yoga and Meditation Center is a wonderful studio that offers a nurturing and peaceful environment to rebalance the body, mind and soul! Michael and his dedicated fellow teachers are engaging and always willing to share their expertise and knowledge. I am so grateful to be a part of the Awaken Yoga community!

  Awaken Yoga classes follow a traditional yoga approach. Covering all aspects of the yoga practice. Postures, breath work, meditation, self-study. All the classes are fit for wherever the practitioner is in their practice. Teachers alway allow students to modify or offer variations for a more challenging practice.
