    You won't regret choosing Avalon at Mission Bay! This is now my second time living here, and I'm extremely happy. Let me break down why I like Avalon: Leasing Staff: These are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They care about the building and the tenants, and it shows. Both Jason and Raymond helped me tremendously. Drop by and say "hi" to them. Front Desk: I'm in phase 1, and the front desk staff are always very polite and courteous. Very different from MANY buildings. Usually, they are even remotely opening the lobby door before I enter or leave. They are extremely attentive and have always been happy to help with anything I've needed. They also receive packages and notify residents by email within minutes of arrival. Location: 255 King Street is one of the most convenient locations in all of San Francisco. Within a single block there's the Cal Train, Muni, Safeway, Starbucks, Philz coffee, the library, AT&T Park, a pet store, and several restaurants. The Apartment: Each unit differs, but mine has a great layout and TONS of light. I currently work from home, so a motivational environment is a must. I love my apartment here. Amenities: Avalon has many amenities such as a gym, lounge and work areas, and 24 hour concierge.The best amenity is location, and the community generally consists of polite techies.

    The Community Consultants at Avalon Dogpatch were very helpful! Prompt and informative responses via email and easy to book a tour. Touring the community felt personal and not rushed. The agents in the leasing office did not treat me as just another potential resident but as someone who would truly be welcomed into a warm community of individuals. Thank you to all the staff at Avalon Dogpatch!

    We've lived in phase 1, behind the main building for over a year now and find the apartment unworthy of its price. The apartment is very very old which results in really old and creaky fittings (e.g., the sound from our exhaust vents will make you feel like you are taking off on an aeroplane). This section is pretty poorly maintained too. The stairs and corridors are rarely cleaned. Very often we have the smell of food seeping in to the apartment either from the barbecue pit or from neighbors' homes through our kitchen chimney (never understood why until someone explained that they keep their chimney system switched off because people complain about the noise it makes).We've made several complaints, but maintenance has been pretty unresponsive. Overall, this section of the property is definitely not worth its price. My wife and I will be moving out at the end of our lease. Would not recommend this place.

    I'm totally in love with this place. I moved in more than 2 years ago and I am very happy with my decision. The stuff is extremely nice and friendly, the property is clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect.
