  I purchased a low beam headlight bulb the clerk looked up for me. I took it to a mechanic who said it was the wrong one. He asked if I got it at Auto Zone because they get that a lot, people coming in with the wrong bulb, from Auto Zone. He thinks they are mistakenly logged in the computer, so the clerks sell a wrong bulb. I returned the wrong one with no problem at all, then told the manager about the possible computer foul-up. He said, "yeah, probably" and went back to whatever he was doing
