  One of the only bars to drink at in Kew Gardens. It's nice for Kew Gardens but don't make a trip out just to visit.

  WHEN THE MANAGER IS "RUDER" THAN YOUR WAITER ; SOMETHING IS WRONG!!! So I had a friend visiting New York from out of the country and he asked me (since I live in NYC) to find a good steak place. I searched online and Austin's Ale came up as close to my house so I brought my guest here yesterday -May 11, 2018 around 5-6:20pm. Long story short, the waiter was in a hurry and rude , didn't want to answer any questions. After my guest asked how long the steak would take as we had waited about 30minutes ; she abruptly replied "I don't know, it takes time but you can speak with the manager if you have any issues" . She walked off and few minutes later the manager came to us and the first thing to come out of his mouth (with a stern face and no greetings)was , " I hear you have problems with the steak, I just checked and you have waited only 22minutes since your order so there is no problem..., are you guys in a hurry going somewhere?... at this point I was sure he would tell us to feel free to leave! so I quickly answered it's ok. And he just zoomed off without a word... Rude , nasty and uncalled for!!!!- I think the manager definitely needs a lot of training on manners and customer service.If he is unhappy with his job (which obviously is the case he should resign or be fired).

  Love their Salmon dish! Great place for drinks after work and for catching a game on a weekend. LIRR right at their backyard so you'll never miss your train back to NYC or LI.

  So this restaurant is usually my “go to” on DoorDash if I don’t feel like cooking. After today I don’t think I will be ordering again. I ordered a burger for the first time and I looked forward to finally eating a meal for the day. Only to receive my order and realize after taking a couple of bites the inside was very pink. I didn’t even eat it I threw it out. I was very disappointed because I order from here very often and most of the time I’m very satisfied. I gave it two stars because not only were was the burger not done but the fries were soggy as well. I will never order another burger from here and probably won’t order for a while.

  It was a good experience. I love the traditional feel of the place. I ordered Jew Gardens Grilled chicken sandwich with fries and it was good. Definitely worth stopping by and it could be a good regular spot if you live around the area.
