Switched my wife over to my plan after we got married. Staff was very helpful and the wait time varies because people set appointments. We waited around 30 minutes for help and it took around 2 hours to get both of our new phones set up. I would recommend getting an appointment.

Got paired up with a rep named Reggie. I asked him for options on upgrading two of my phones (both iPhone 7), one of which was sent to be my company phone. Reggie said about about four words in total and just started activating things. Gave me no options, said that to give me options would be like "Training" me. Dude had the personality of a rock wearing an AT&T beanie, and when I called him on it he just stared at his manager, just blinking and staring like he was stroking out. I thought I was in Westworld and Reggie the Robot was rebooting, until I told him how bad of a job he was doing...then Reggie CAME ALIVE!!! He explained that I never asked for "options" and started arguing in a tone that sounded a lot like when the IT guy in my office tries to explain to me what the "cloud" is (hint: condescending). His manager Daniel finally arrives, in a moment that I regret I asked Reggie to *$#@-off (sorry dude) and he just keeps on defending himself. Daniel seems to be taking all of this in, trying to get a word in but Robo-Reggie is stuck in an argue-loop. Finally Reggie's Apple Watch buzzes - - he pauses - - and Daniel, seeing his window of opportunity, jumps in and very nicely explains to Reggie that "he's got this" !!! Whew !!! Daniel proceeded to explain my options (in summary I have no options), but Daniel's velvet glove approach made it sound so much nicer. Seriously Daniel was an AT&T store unicorn, an omniscient veteran, forged in Nashville's Batman building, from the dust of the Baby Bell supernova (Westworld's version of Bernard, but younger and less menacing)...Then again maybe anyone would have been an upgrade to Reggie. If you go to this store ask for Daniel. My guess is that Reggie is headed into the shop to get a new personality.
